Putting your ramps together

MONDAY TIP OF THE DAY: SCREWS FOR RAMP BUILDING

If you just opened your very own indoor skatepark and your now looking at your buddy and

the pile of wood to the right of him wondering what to do next; we have a great tip when it

comes to making it all come together.

One of the best bits of information we recieved when putting indoor ramps together is using

the right screw. I know this sounds really ridiculous, but it will pay off if you ever have to

take the ramp apart in the future. I see lots of kids slamming nails into their ramps; which

is fine if you want to try and pry those suckers out later down the road. Instead of nails,

we recommend using screws instead. The best ones to use for the job are coarse drywall

screws for all your indoor ramps. If your building a skatepark outside, you can use a

galvinized deck screws with no problem.
